The most important are the power and energy terms:

The “power term” is a fixed cost that you pay for the contracted power, that is, the maximum consumption capacity that you can have in your home.

The “energy term” refers to the cost for the electricity you have consumed during the billing period.

Other charges may also appear, such as meter rental and applicable taxes. In addition, there may be additional items such as specific discounts or surcharges.

Below, we explain each item that may appear on your bill:

Data on the holder and supply point: Information on the contract holder and the address where the electric service is provided.

Billing period: The dates covered by the invoice, indicating the beginning and end of the invoiced period.

Contract reference number: A unique identifier for your electricity supply contract.

Contracted power: The maximum capacity of energy you can consume at one time, measured in kilowatts (kW). It is a fixed cost that you pay for the availability of this capacity, regardless of your actual consumption.

Energy consumption: The amount of electricity used during the billing period, measured in kilowatt hours (kWh).

Power term: A fixed cost you pay for the contracted power. This amount is calculated by multiplying the contracted power (in kW) by the number of days in the billing period and by the price per kW established in your contract.

Energy term: The cost associated with electricity consumption during the billing period. It is calculated by multiplying the number of kWh consumed by the price per kWh.

Meter rental: Charge for the use of the electric meter, in case you do not own it. It is a fixed cost that is included in each bill.

Electricity tax: A percentage applied to consumption and contracted power. It is a specific tax on electricity supply.

VAT (Value Added Tax): A 21% tax applied to the total bill, including electricity tax.

Discounts and promotions: Any discount or promotion applied to your bill, which reduces the total amount due.

Additional services: Costs for additional services you have contracted, such as maintenance or insurance.

Total payable: The sum of all the above items, representing the total amount of the invoice.

Current and previous meter reading: The meter figures that indicate the current consumption and the consumption in the previous period. The difference between these readings determines the consumption for the period.

Consumption calculation: Details of how consumption has been calculated, generally the difference between the current and previous reading multiplied by the price per kWh.

Consumption profile: Information on how and when you consume the most electricity, useful for understanding your usage habits. This may include details such as peak and off-peak consumption if you have a time discriminating tariff.

Tariff applied: The type of tariff you have contracted (flat rate, hourly rate, etc.).

Regulated costs: Part of the bill that includes costs regulated by the government, such as access tolls and electricity system charges.

Access tolls: Costs associated with the use of electricity transmission and distribution networks, regulated by the government.

System charges: Additional costs established by the government to finance various aspects of the electricity system, such as the promotion of renewable energies or system management.

Consumption in hourly time periods: In the case of having a tariff with hourly discrimination, the consumption is shown divided by tranches (peak, flat, off-peak), each with its corresponding price.

Reactive energy: An additional charge that may appear if your installation consumes reactive energy, which is a form of energy that does not perform useful work but circulates through the electrical grid.

Penalties for excess consumption: If your consumption exceeds the contracted power, there may be penalties that are reflected in the bill.

Rebates: Bill reductions for meeting certain requirements, such as belonging to a vulnerable group or having implemented energy efficiency measures.

Billing adjustments: Corrections or adjustments applied to the invoice due to errors in previous billings or rate changes.

[44
post-4637","faq","type-faq","status-publish","hentry","categoria-de-faqs-invoice-and-tariffs
["GET
