In order to register for electricity, you will generally need the following documents:
• ID card or passport: To identify the contract holder.
• CUPS Code: The Universal Supply Point Code, which identifies your connection.
• Electric bulletin: Certificate that assures that the installation complies with current regulations.
• Title deed or lease agreement: To verify ownership of the property.
• Bank details: For direct debit of invoices.
***It includes a 5% VAT (the IGIC would be % in the Canary Islands) and a .5% electricity tax (with a minimum of €1/MWh). If you have a power greater than 10 kW and/or the price of electricity in the wholesale market is less than €45/MWh, the VAT is 21% (and the IGIC is 3% in the Canary Islands). The indicated prices will have the regulated cost associated with the financing mechanism for the social bonus added, which is €.038455 per day. The prices mentioned above do not include the amount corresponding to the Gas Adjustment Mechanism (RDL 10/2022) in our rates effective from September. Despite the recent increase in gas prices and market volatility, we continue to work to offer all our customers fair prices with a long-term commitment.
