The CUPS, or Universal Supply Point Code, is a key composed of numbers and letters that identifies your home’s electricity or gas installation.
It is a unique, permanent, and unalterable code, similar to a car’s license plate or a mobile phone number. Basically, it is the ID for your home supplies.
Therefore, if you change your tariff or supplier, your CUPS remains the same. However, if you move, you will get a new CUPS.
***It includes a 5% VAT (the IGIC would be % in the Canary Islands) and a .5% electricity tax (with a minimum of €1/MWh). If you have a power greater than 10 kW and/or the price of electricity in the wholesale market is less than €45/MWh, the VAT is 21% (and the IGIC is 3% in the Canary Islands). The indicated prices will have the regulated cost associated with the financing mechanism for the social bonus added, which is €.038455 per day. The prices mentioned above do not include the amount corresponding to the Gas Adjustment Mechanism (RDL 10/2022) in our rates effective from September. Despite the recent increase in gas prices and market volatility, we continue to work to offer all our customers fair prices with a long-term commitment.
