The power term is a fixed cost you pay for the contracted power in your home, regardless of how much electricity you consume. The contracted power is measured in kilowatts (kW) and determines the maximum amount of electricity you can use at the same time without blowing the fuse.
On the bill, this cost appears as a fixed amount and is calculated by multiplying the contracted power by the number of days of the billing period and by the price per kW established in your contract.
***It includes a 5% VAT (the IGIC would be % in the Canary Islands) and a .5% electricity tax (with a minimum of €1/MWh). If you have a power greater than 10 kW and/or the price of electricity in the wholesale market is less than €45/MWh, the VAT is 21% (and the IGIC is 3% in the Canary Islands). The indicated prices will have the regulated cost associated with the financing mechanism for the social bonus added, which is €.038455 per day. The prices mentioned above do not include the amount corresponding to the Gas Adjustment Mechanism (RDL 10/2022) in our rates effective from September. Despite the recent increase in gas prices and market volatility, we continue to work to offer all our customers fair prices with a long-term commitment.
